Dad shoots and kills 16-year-old disabled son (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania)

Police: Father Kills Autistic Son, Shoots Self
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3)

Authorities say a father allegedly shot and killed his 16-year-old wheelchair-bound, autistic son before turning the gun on himself.

The bodies of 61-year-old Segundo Duque and his son Fabian were found at about 6 a.m. Monday in a van on Sanger Street near Loretto Avenue.

Philadelphia police say the Segundo Duque allegedly shot his son while the car was driving in the 4500 block of H Street. Police say a 22-year-old woman was in the car at the time of the shooting and was able to escape uninjured.

Police say Segundo continued to drive the van to Sanger Street, where he shot and killed himself.
Police are investigating why Segundo allegedly committed this murder-suicide.
