Dad charged with domestic abuse, child neglect after 3-year-old son found in near-freezing weather (Rogersville, Tennessee)
Dad JAMIE ALLEN BROGAN is quite the prince. Not only does he shove his wife (causing a 6-inch laceration to her leg), he leaves his 3-year-old son outside in his car in near freezing weather in nothing but his underwear. The child was shaking, had blue lips, and was "very cold" to the touch when found by police.

ROGERSVILLE — A Hawkins County man already facing domestic abuse charges Sunday morning was additionally charged with child neglect after officers on the scene found his 3-year-old son shivering outside in a vehicle in near-freezing temperatures.
About 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a domestic dispute call at 390 Mount Zion Road, Whitesburg.
Upon their arrival, deputies spoke to Alisha Brogan, who said she’d been in an argument with her husband, Jamie Allen Brogan Jr., 28, of that address.
Alisha Brogan told deputies that during the argument Jamie Brogan pushed her, causing her to fall over a TV and sustain a 6-inch laceration to her upper left leg.
HCSO Sgt. Scott Alley stated in his report that he was outside the residence speaking to Jamie Brogan when he observed a small child inside Brogan’s vehicle.
“It was determined that the child, 3 years old, had been outside in 36 degree weather with only underwear on for approximately 20 to 30 minutes,” Alley said. “Officers also observed that the child had urinated on himself, was shaking, had blue lips, and was very cold to the touch.”
Aside from child neglect, Brogan was also charged with domestic violence assault and domestic vandalism.
Brogan was arraigned Monday in Hawkins County Sessions Court and released on bond that afternoon.
