Stepdad arrested for assault of 7-month-old infant (Fairmont, Minnesota)
Stepdad ROBERT PITTMAN JR. has been arrested for the assault of his 7-month-old stepson. The baby suffered a brain hematoma while under his "care."

A seven-month-old child is in critical condition... and his step father is behind bars. 35 year old Robert Pittman Junior of Fairmont is charged with 2 counts of assault and malicious punishment of a child.
According to a criminal complaint, Pittman's wife's seven month old son suffered a brain hematoma while under Pittman's care.
Authorities responded to a 911 call at Pittman's home on the 1300 block of North Prairie Avenue, Friday morning.
According to the criminal complaint Police found the child laying on the floor, shuttering and gasping for breath.The child's right eye was closed and the left was wide open.
Pittman told authorities the child must have fallen off the couch when he was in the other room.
However, medical staff told authorities they don't believe the child's injuries could have been from simply falling off the couch.
