Dad admits dropping, hitting 2-month-old child; baby has "extremely serious" injuries (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Dad ALLEJANDRO VASQUEZ has been charged with battery and neglect for dropping and "forcefully" striking his 2-month-old child. The baby has "extremely serious" injuries as a result, including a brain injury. Notice that the article mentions Daddy's immigration issues (which really aren't relevant), but doesn't say a thing about this baby's mother. Where is she? Was she working while Daddy was pummelling this poor baby? What?

INVISIBLE MOTHER ALERT.
