Father accused of biting son

SALEM - A Salem man is behind bars, accused of injuring his 14-month-old son because the child woke up too early and wouldn't go back to sleep.

WNYT's media partners at The Post-Star say 28-year-old Roger Hill admitted to causing numerous facial injuries to the boy and biting the child's arm.

The sheriff's department says Hill also admitted to smoking herbal incense before the incident.

The boy was treated at Glens Falls hospital and released.
