Dad charged with aggravated assault for injuring 3-month-old daughter (Chambersburg, Pennsylvania)
Dad JAMELL BILLUPS is charged with aggravated assault for injuries sustained by his 3-month-old daughter. The baby has head injuries with traumatic subdural bleeding, extensive retinal hemorrhaging (often a sign the baby has been violently shaken), and 16 healing rib fractures.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA- A Chambersburg man is under arrest after his 3 month-old daughter was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Jamell Billups is charged with aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police say Leiana Billups' parents brought the 3 month-old to Chambersburg Hospital on October 19th.
They told officials the infant had a seizure and then went unresponsive.
Doctors determined the child had a head injury and she was flown to Hershey Medical Center.
Doctors also discovered the infant had 16 healing rib fractures.
She is currently being treated for traumatic subdural bleeding and extensive retinal hemorrhages.
An investigation into the case continues.
