Dad wanted for attacking pregnant wife with axe, killing 3-year-old child (Gia Lai, Vietnam)
Dad PHAM VU is wanted for an assault on his pregnant wife with an axe (the mother is in severe condition with brain injuries, and also lost the six-month-old fetus). Dad is also wanted for the murder of a 3-year-old child in the home that Dad didn't "acccept." Neighbors say that Dad has a history of dometic violence, and that the wife was "regularly beaten" by her husband. Dad was released from prison earlier this year for attacking the wife's parents. You know, some people should just stay in jail....

Father wanted for slashing pregnant wife, killing another child
Police in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai have put out a warrant for a 29 year old man for slashing a 3-year-old child to death and inflicting brain damage on his pregnant wife, also mother of the killed child.
Tran Phuong Thao Ngan died shortly after being admitted to Gia Lai General Hospital as did the six-month old fetus inside Tran Hoang To Uyen, 22.
Pham Vu, 29, had attacked them with the axe that he used to break the window to enter their home on Monday night.
Preliminary investigations show the door was locked when Vu came home, so he used an axe to break in. Seeing her husband with a weapon, Uyen picked Ngan up and tried to run away but Vu chased after them, slashing Ngan’s head and attacking Uyen as well.
Doctors said Uyen had suffered brain damage from Vu’s blows and was in serious condition. She also had many injuries on her face, neck and hands.
Later, he also chased and attacked his sister-in-law Tran Hoang To Trinh and her friend on seeing them at a food store nearby, before fleeing the area.
Vu was released from prison early this year after a 30-month jail term for attacking his parents-in-law early in 2007.
He has been living with Uyen as husband and wife without a marriage license. The family has two children Nguyen and Ngan, but Vu only accepted Nguyen as his child. Nguyen was also in the house at the time but was spared from the attack.
Local residents said Uyen was beaten regularly by Vu.
