Dad TIMOTHY CRANE has already pleaded guilty to 1st-degree assault. No mention of where Mom was while Daddy was carrying on like this.

LINCOLN, Neb. — A young Lincoln father who broke an arm and leg of his 7-week-old daughter has been given 8-to-12 years in prison.

Timothy Crane was sentenced last week.

The 19-year-old first told police that he'd dropped the baby when he tripped over a cat inside their Lincoln home. He later admitted tossing her onto a bed and pushing her head into a pillow to try to stop her cries. He also carried her by holding both wrists above her head and squeezing her abdomen in trying to ease her constipation.

In December, Crane pleaded no contest to first-degree assault.

According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Crane's attorney says the baby has recovered.
