Dad's "roommate" facing child molesting charges; abuse apparently took place during Dad's visitation time (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Generally, our culture is very pious about lecturing single mothers on what sluts they are for taking up with this or that boyfriend, and "allowing" the boyfriend to abuse their children. However, fathers are generally exempt from that criticism. I looked through the comments following this article, and there was not ONE WORD criticizing the father for taking up with this guy, moving him in, and exposing his son to the boyfriend's, er "roomate's" abuse--apparently during Daddy's visitation time. Had this guy been Mom's "roommate," she would have been roundly denounced. Believe me.

HIV positive man faces child molesting charges

INDIANAPOLIS (WANE) - An Indianapolis man is charged with several counts of child molestation and police think he may have infected an eight-year-old boy with HIV.

Police said a mother in Greenwood called police last month when her son told her Carl Delong had molested him on several occasions.

Delong was arrested Friday and was being held on a $50,000 bond, but he was released from jail after posting bail.

Police said Delong was living with the boy's father. Delong was not already listed on registered sex offender websites.

Delong also faces additional charges of failure to warn the boy that he was HIV positive.
