Dad being investigated for death of 3-month-old (Newport News, Virginia)
Yet another typical dead baby story.
1) Dad was "caretaking"
2) Baby stops breathing (typically because of the brain damage from being hit it in the head, bashed, thrown, and/or violently shaken)
3) Grandpa calls 911--not Dad
4) ZERO mention of Mom.
It's still an UNNAMED DAD.
INVISIBLE MOTHER ALERT.

NEWPORT NEWS -- Police are investigating the death of a three-month old boy.
On Tuesday, the child's father was caring for the boy in their Tara Court home and noticed the infant wasn't breathing, according to police.
The child's grandfather called 911 and paramedics transported the baby to Mary Immaculate Hospital, where he was revived, investigators said.
The little boy, who was comatose, was then transferred to Children's Hospital of the King's Daughter in Norfolk, according to police spokeswoman Holly McPherson.
The child died at noon Friday.
McPherson stated there were no signs of visible injury and no charges have been placed.
The investigation continues to determine why the child died.
