PICKERINGTON, Ohio — Police said on Friday that they filed charges against a man who allegedly beat his 3-month-old daughter.
Jeremy Snyder was charged with felonious assault and endangering children, a second-degree felony.
He was expected to be arraigned on Friday, police said.
According to police, the child was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus on Tuesday night after having an apparent seizure.
Investigators learned that the toddler had three healing fractured ribs, substantial subdural hematoma and bleeding behind the eyes.
Police said that they were told by doctors that the injuries were consistent with abusive handling.
Snyder was interviewed by police and charged, police said. He was transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
