Dad is identified as JOHN JACKSON. Yet another selfish father....Fortunately, we don't have clueless neighbors assuring us what a "great guy" the killer was.

Father-Daughter Murder-Suicide Investigation Continues
ANNANDALE, VA (WUSA)-- Fairfax County Police are investigating a murder-suicide that hits close to home. John Jackson, a former sergeant with the department and his 13-year-old daughter, Alexis, were found dead from gunshot wounds inside a sport-utility vehicle in Annandale.
The car was parked in the driveway of a home on Forest Grove Drive in the Sleepy Hollow Neighborhood. Neighbors say the home has been owned by the teenager's grandparents for the last thirty years, but that her mother also lives there.
"It's just horrible. It's the worst thing. I can't even believe that we live here and that happened," said Doris Kinder, a neighbor who says she heard three gunshots."
Fairfax County Police are calling it an apparent murder-suicide, but they're still investigating who pulled the trigger and why. Police say they won't know for sure what happened until the medical examiner is done determining the cause and manner of death.
John Jackson of Falls Church left the Fairfax County Police department in 2010 after serving sixteen years. Most recently, the 40-year-old ran a landscaping and waste removal company with his brother in Woodbridge. Alexis Jackson was in the 7th grade at Glasgow Middle School.
