A Philadelphia father is facing murder charges. He's accused of killing his infant son at a Kensington home.
The Philadelphia Medical Examiner's office ruled the death of a three-month-old baby on Sunday a homicide. The child's father, Jose Weber, 27, is under arrest and charged with the baby's murder, according to Philadelphia Police.
Police and emergency workers were called to Weber's home along the 3000 block of Hartville Street in Kensington on Sunday afternoon. Eli Franciso Sanchez was pronounced dead at the home. His father tried to commit suicide after the homicide, said police.
There's no word on the extent of Weber's self-inflicted injuries. Weber is in police custody.
