I wonder if this "babysitting" dad is one of those chronically unemployed deadbeats (notice that Mom was working, and that SHE was the one who got the baby medical care, not Daddy.) Dad is identified as WILLIAM CHARLES WEBB. Notice that this nitwit "allegedly" threatened to burn the house down as well.

Doctors found the boy had consumed so much alcohol he was more than 3.5 times the drink-drive limit

A father has been accused of getting his son of eight months drunk by force-feeding him vodka.

Doctors found the boy had consumed so much alcohol he was more than 3.5 times the drink-drive limit.

William Charles Webb, 27, is alleged to have fed the alcohol to his son while the child’s mother was working.
When she returned, she noticed the tot was not responding correctly so took him to hospital.

He was incubated for respiratory failure and has since made a full recovery.

Webb was charged on Friday with injury to a child and making a terroristic threat after a bottle of vodka was found on the table at the family home in Waco, Texas.

When he was freed from custody at the weekend it is claimed he tried to set light to the house where he allegedly carried out the crime.

Webb was tracked down to his mother’s home, where he was arrested again.
