Dad charged with manslaughter in death of 3-month-old daughter (Winter Haven, Florida)
Ah, poor thing. Daddy CHRISTOPHER SCOTT RYON got all pissy 'cause he wanted to rest and all and the baby was crying. So he "allegedly" punched her in the head and killed her. Another case where the mother was apparently working while daddy played Mr. Mom.

WINTER HAVEN --
A 3-month-old Winter Haven girl is dead, and her father is in jail after he allegedly punched her in the head because she wouldn't let him rest.
Christopher Scott Ryon, 27, was arrested and charged with manslaughter of a child Wednesday. Winter Haven detectives say he admitted to hitting baby Riley Ryon because she wouldn't stop crying when he wanted to lie down to take a nap.
According to Winter Haven police, an emergency medical call came in about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday after Kristina Bardell, the baby's mother, came home for lunch and found Riley unresponsive.
Bardell said she went into the bedroom, where the baby was lying face-down on the bed. When she turned Riley over, she saw she was not breathing and her face had a bluish tint.
The mother said she handed the baby to Christopher Ryon, who had been sleeping on the couch when she arrived, and called 911.
Winter Haven detectives, who were in the vicinity and heard the call, responded to the scene and took over CPR while emergency personnel were en route. When EMS crews arrived, they assumed resuscitation efforts and transported the baby to Winter Haven Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy conducted Thursday concluded the baby had a skull fracture 2.6 inches long, indicative of a blunt force trauma, police said.
Christopher Ryon was interviewed and arrested.
He got a $500,000 bond and will be appointed a public defender.
