Dad found guilty of homicide by child abuse (Oconee County, South Carolina)
We've reported on dad MATTHEW HINTON before. He's now been sentenced to 41 years in prison for the brutal murder of his 5-month-old daughter. Notice that this piece of sh** is STILL DESCRIBED AS A "GOOD FATHER." This is how low the bar has been set for satisfactory parenting. Even convicted daddy killers are still "good."

OCONEE COUNTY, SC --
24-year-old Matthew Hinton was sentenced to 41 years in prison Thursday, convicted of killing his infant daughter.
5-month-old Brianna Bright suffered from bruises, broken bones, and bleeding on her brain before she died in August of 2009. A jury found her father, Matthew Hinton, guilty of homicide by child abuse.
Brianna's mom, Ashley Bright, had to be consoled when the jury's verdict was announced. She is no longer in a relationship with Hinton. Ashley and her mother pleaded with the judge to give Hinton life in prison.
Hinton's family members told the judge he was a good father. Hinton testified that Brianna's death was an accident, that the baby slipped when he was drying her off, after a shower, and that she hit her head on his collarbone.
Medical experts testified for the prosecution that Brianna's injuries were the result of child abuse.
