Dad wanted in murder of mom, 3-year-old son (Rosenheim, Germany)

UNNAMED DAD had just separated from the mother of their 3-year-old child, and had reportedly just been released from prison. Once again, we see that separation from abusers is one of the most dangerous times for women and children. In this case, it appears the mother was beaten to death, while the 3-year-old was found hanged.

A three-year-old boy has been found hanged next to the body of his badly-beaten mother in the cellar of a house in Germany, media reports said on Tuesday.

Police in Bavaria in southern Germany confirmed that the bodies of the boy and the 37-year-old woman had been found in Rosenheim on Monday, but declined to comment on how they had died.

A hunt was under way for the 48-year-old father of the child, who was separated from the mother and had reportedly recently been released from prison.
