Dad in "custody battle" murders 6-year-old son (Dorset, England, United Kingdom)

Sounds to me like dad CHRIS HALL was just another vicious control freak--if he couldn't strip this mother of her child through the courts, he'd do so by stripping the child of his life.

Mum of 6-year-old found dead with dad speaks of pain

The mother of a young boy found dead beside his father in bed has spoken of the pain of losing him.

Chris Hall, six, was found next to his 52-year-old father, also called Chris, at their home.

Rachel Wild said she would never forget her son and his death had left a large hole that would never be filled.

She added: "No words can express the pain I am feeling and will feel each day for the rest of my life."

Ms Wild had been in a relationship with Chris's father for 10 years but at the time of her son's death she was estranged and thought to be in a custody battle.

Police said no one else was being sought in connection with the deaths in Poole, Dorset, last month.

The cause of death is yet to be established.

An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
