UNNAMED DAD has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for raping his young daughters over a 5-year period. Notice how Daddy tried to pull the "false allegations" card, how he had been trying to leave the mothers, and how she "made up" the charges in retaliation. Sounds like at some people are starting to see that the "false allegations" claim can also be false.

Guttenberg man sentenced to 30 years in prison for raping young daughters

A Guttenberg man who raped his young daughters over a 5-year period has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for his vile crimes, officials said.

"He took advantage of and was horrible to these young girls," Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor Jane Weiner said Tuesday of the sentencing of the 35-year-old father on Friday by Superior Court Judge Paul DePascale.

The man's name is being withheld to protect the identity of his victims.

"It should have been one of the best times of their lives," said Weiner of the victims. One of the girls was abused over three years, from the age of 7 to 10 years old, authorities said. The other girl was raped when she was 10 years old. The abuse occurred between 2002 and 2007, Weiner said.

The sexual assault came to the attention of police in May 2009 after the younger girl told a school counselor what had happened, Weiner said. In June the father was convicted of sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child, and two counts of aggravated sexual assault, Weiner said.

The abuse usually occurred in the family's Guttenberg home.

During the trial, both girls took the stand and told of the molestation at the hands of their father. The defendant also testified, saying he had been planning to leave the girls' mother and in retaliation the mother made up the allegations that the girls then parroted.

"The jury just did not believe it," said Weiner of the father's testimony at trial.

The mother apparently learned of the abuse in 2007 and took steps to keep the father away from the young girls, but he continued to live in the household. When the abuse, which ended in 2007, came to light, the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office's Special Victims Unit stepped in.

The father must serve more than 25 years in prison before becoming eligible for parole, Weiner said. After he is release he will have to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law and he will be monitored for the rest of his life, the prosecutor said.
