Newborn baby hospitalized with life-threatening injuries; father charged (Charlotte, North Carolina)
Dad MARCUS DAVIS has been charged for life-threatening injuries sustained by his newborn son. No mention of the baby's mother.

CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - Police say an infant was physically abused by his father at the child's home in north Charlotte this weekend.
The incident was reported on Saturday at 3:58 p.m. and occurred at a home at 1904 Taylor Avenue which is off Lasalle Street.
According to the police report, the victim who is a newborn, was abused by his father, 25-year-old Marcus Davis.
The child suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Carolinas Medical Center.
Davis was charged with felony Child Abuse Inflicting Serious Injury. He is being held on a $50,000 bond at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
