4-year-old boy dies from head injuries after being assaulted by dad (Louisville, Kentucky)

Dad is identified as CHRISTOPHER BRUCK. We've posted on this case before. It has previously been reported that the assault on this little boy took place during the father's first overnight visitation.

Ind. four-year-old dies in hospital

4-year-old child abuse victim had died

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Hayden Dukes, the four-year-old boy who sustained a head injury after he was allegedly assaulted by his father, died at Kosair Children's Hospital Thursday afternoon.

Hayden had not responded to treatment and was, at the will of his family, taken off the ventilator which was keeping him alive. He died shortly after being taken off the apparatus.

Christopher Bruck, 27, Hayden Dukes' father, was in court yesterday facing a number of charges including aggravated battery. He is currently in jail and being held on a $100,000 full-cash bond.
