9-month-old suffered several injuries, including fractured skull

JACKSON, Miss. —A judge denied bond Thursday a father accused in the death of his 9-month-old son.
Officers were called Sunday to a home in the 100 block of Evans Drive, where they found Corey Kees dead, police said.
An autopsy performed Monday revealed that the baby suffered several injuries, including a fractured skull, which were consistent with blunt-force trauma, police said.
Investigators arrested Jerry Michael Alexander Kees and charged him with capital murder, police said.
Gary Belk lives next door to the home on Evans Drive where the baby died. Belk said his neighbors told him that doctors had discovered a health problem with the baby.
"Right after it was first born it had, they said, a bone disease. It was broken," Belk said.
Belk said his neighbor called him the other night to tell him that the baby had died.
"He didn't say why or anything," Belk said.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible, police said.
