A somber mood engulfed the village during the burial as the mother of children, Agnes Koech narrated how her late husband looked an haunted man and in some occasions confessed of having executed innocent inmates while serving at Nakuru G.K. remand prison.
Emotions went high as villagers and neighbours questioned why parents were targeting their children recalling that three months ago, another villager Francis Yegon went berserk and killed his two children before hanging himself in the house his lifeless children lay.
Eliud Kipkemboi, 4 and his sister Sharon Jepkogei, 8 were hacked to death early this year at Kabaskei village in the neighbourhood after an attempt an attempt to kill his wife in cold blood aborted.
