"Loving and doting" dad murders 6-month-old son, leaves his body in the refrigerator (Houston, Texas)

I call bullsh**. Fathers who kill babies and leave their bodies in the refrigerator are neither "loving" nor "doting." Sorry this @$$ managed to fool so many of you. But actions speak larger than a "good morning" in the apartment hallway.

Notice that UNNAMED DAD had been left with care of this baby for the past month, and just couldn't handle it without totally falling apart.

Houston police are investigating the death of a 6-month-old baby boy who was found in a refrigerator this morning at an apartment in the 7100 block of Beechnut in southwest Houston.

Investigators say the baby's father called 911 this morning, saying he suicidal. When rescue personnel arrived at the apartment around 7:40 a.m. no one opened the door. Neighbors told firefighters that a baby was in the apartment. Fearing for the child's safety, firefighters broke into the unit and found the father collapsed on the floor.

He was incoherent and said he had killed his son, police said. The baby was found wrapped in a blanket, dead in refrigerator.

The father, who has not been identified, became violent and had to be subdued. He was taken to a hospital where he remains.

HPD Homicide Sgt. Ora Chandler said the boy was likely in the refrigerator since at least Tuesday evening. It appears the refrigerator had been completely emptied recently.

Chandler said the mother had been living at the apartment but moved a month ago to Clear Lake to help care for a sick relative. The mother was going to come back today, Chandler said.

Neighbors described the man as a loving and doting father.
