What he did to his toddler son is one of the most disturbing crimes we've ever seen.

Tonight's top fugitive is a serious threat to children in more ways than one - a sex offender who struck young, and years later as a father, did unspeakable damage to his 3 ½ year old son.

David Nyhart is a convicted level three sex offender - the worst of the worst - and highest risk to re-offend. He preyed on his victim, a young girl, when he was just a teenager, sexually assaulting her for several years.

That's revolting enough, but what he did to his toddler son - is simply unimaginable, convicted of suffocating the child with a blanket. The baby suffered extensive brain damage as well as internal organ damage.

And the abuse he’s unleashed doesn’t stop there. In investigating that horrible abuse of his son, Seattle police discovered Nyhart was behind several domestic violence crimes involving his wife, including one attack while she was holding their son in her arms.

And, just recently, he was busted trying to use stolen credit cards, showing he's a threat in several different ways.
