Who does the San Diego County Sheriff's Office work for anyway? (Coronado, California)

Given that even poor daddies with criminal records are treated like gold, you know how rich daddies are treated. Like gods who are better than gold.

Check this out. Millionaire "mogul" dad JONAY SHACKNAI obviously had child access (despite previous press reports of domestic violence, which should tell you something). That child ends up "mysteriously" dead at Daddy's home (set up to look like an accident?) And then, lo and behold, the girlfriend ends up dead. Hanging by the neck, nude, with her FEET BOUND and her HANDS TIED BEHIND HER.

And yet with a seeming straight face, the San Diego County cops claim this could have been a suicide? How the f*** do you bind your own feet, tie your hands together behind your own back, then hang yourself?

Something rampantly stinks here....And money is behind it.

Coronado, Calif., police on Wednesday sought to clarify what their officers knew about the incident in which Max Shacknai, son of Paradise Valley pharmaceutical mogul Jonah Shacknai, was injured.

The child's death was reported Sunday. On July 11, he'd been taken, injured, by paramedics from his father's Coronado mansion, which has a large staircase in the living room.

"Max was found by police and paramedics on the ground near the foot of the staircase," police spokeswoman Lea Corbin said in an e-mail. "The 911 call came in as a child who had fallen."

Two days later, Jonah Shacknai's girlfriend, Rebecca Zahau, was found at the same house, nude and hanging by the neck from a balcony, her feet tied together, her hands bound behind her.

San Diego County sheriff's detectives are investigating Zahau's death, and say it could be days or weeks before they determine it to be a suicide or a homicide. Coronado police are investigating Max's death, though they're working with sheriff's detectives.
