ROSSIE – An Antwerp man has been charged with second-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly breaking his six-month-old child’s leg.
At a family member’s residence in Rossie on Wednesday, Robert C.D. Robinson, 23, of Antwerp, injured his six-month-old son while placing him in a playpen “recklessly,” resulting in the child suffering a spiral fracture in his right leg, according to state police.
Robinson was arraigned today in Town of Fowler Court and sent to St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond for bail.
