Why hasn't dad in "custody battle" been arrested for murdering ex-girfriend, 3-year-old daughter? (Lakeland, Florida)
We've reported ont his case several times in past few months. Authorities have found the bodies, they have a witness who has pinned the murders on her husband. Why has dad LESTER ROSS STILL not been arrested for murder? Once again, a violent father gets OUT-OF-STATE visitation with a preschooler, then kills the child. Mom can get no answers as to why the child has not been returned, so she drives down to Florida to get some answers--only to be "silenced" for asking too many questions. The authorities did jack squat during this entire time, and are still doing jack squat. Is somebody protecting this guy or something?

LAKELAND - The State Attorney's Office in Polk County just released a startling audio interview with a woman who had two dead bodies in her freezer for more than a year.
Investigators say Sharon Ross's husband, Lester Ross, killed his ex-girl friend and their 3-year-old daughter because of a custody battle, then stored their bodies in a freezer in his home in Winter Haven.
During the interview, Sharon Ross told detectives that she eventually went to the authorities because she was tired of living with the pressure and wanted to get on with her life.
"All my family is trying to tell me that I am sharing a weight, trying to save somebody that really don't give a ****," she said.
Sharon Ross said she was uncomfortable with what might be in the freezer, but never opened it. She said it had another freezer and a heavy propane tank on top of it.
She describes how her husband came to her one night, and forced her to drive to a nearby orange grove, where he buried the bodies. She says he threatened to kill her if she went to the police, but she did anyway.
Lester Ross is not charged with the murders. He is in the Polk County Jail, accused of tampering with a witness.
