Dad arrested after 7-month-old son hospitalized with "serious injuries" (Salt Lake City, Utah)

Dad CESAR DELGADO has been arrested after his 7-month-old son was hospitalized with serious injuries after he had been left "in the care of his father. " The baby not only had a broken arm, but older rib injuries. So it apparently wasn't the first time Daddy freaked out on the baby.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police say a man was arrested after doctors examined a child who was brought to an emergency room with serious injuries.

Police say hospital staff called to report that a seven-month-old was being treated for a broken arm, and that upon further investigation, doctors found that the child also had two ribs that were in different stages of healing.

Doctors said the baby's mother stated that she had left the child in the care of his father and when she returned she found the child injured.

Officers booked 36-year-old Cesar Delgado into jail for two counts of child abuse.
