Dad arrested for abusing, neglecting 13-month-old son; toddler had broken leg, mouth lacerations, bruising (West Valley City, Utah)
Dad HUMBERTO ALVAREZ was supposed to do child care for the weekend, while the rest of the family went out of town. Apparently, Dad just couldn't handle the responsibility. Seems this piece of sh-- admits that he threw a laundry basket at his 13-month-old son and hit him repeatedly with a shoe--and probably other stuff as well. When the family came home, they found the child all alone on the basement floor. He had a broken leg, lacerations in his mouth, and severe bruising and other signs of trauma all over his body, including a large bruise and cut on the back of his head.
