FORT EDWARD - A vigil is being held Wednesday afternoon in memory of a three-month-old baby police say was killed by his father.
30-year-old Kevin Wayne King is accused of shaking Brett Michael Diaz and slamming him against the floor.
King is charged with second-degree murder.
The vigil is organized by Hands Across New York.
The group is dedicated to raising awareness about child abuse.
The vigil begins at 4 p.m. in front of the Washington County courthouse.
Calling hours are Friday night at the Carleton Funeral Home in Hudson falls.
Memorial donations can be made to the Warren-Washington Child Advocacy Center in Glens Falls.
