Homeless custodial dad accused of abusing 3-year-old daughter (New Castle, Pennsylvania)

No explanation as to why UNNAMED DAD had custody, or who gave it to him. Notice, however, that he was quick to dump the child off with a female caretaker. This seems to be common with custodial fathers. What happened to this litttle gir's mother?

New Castle police investigating child abuse case involving girl, 3

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — New Castle police are investigating a child abuse case involving a 3-year-old girl.

The girl’s father is accused of injuring her, police said. A friend had been taking care of the girl because the father is homeless, when the father took his daughter for a few days, according to police.

When the girl returned, the friend said she found bruising over the girl’s entire body when giving her a bath, police said.

The friend said she attempted to get temporary custody of the girl but was unable to do so.

The girl has been placed in a temporary home, police said.
