Dad arrested for DWI while two kids in the car (College Station, Texas)

I suspect that this is one of those cases where Daddy had his visitation that night. If he had been living with the children's mother, I bet he would have left the kids at home, and gone out alone or with his buddies. At any rate, there is no mention of where the mom was while Daddy was out "partying" with the kids.

Dad is identified as BYRON SIC-TZUNUM.

COLLEGE STATION, Tx (KYLE) — A six-month-old is found unrestrained in the backseat of a car and her six-year-old sister found wandering alone down a College Station street all while police say their father was passed out drunk.

26-year-old Byron Sic-Tzunum was arrested Sunday and charged with driving while intoxicated and two counts of child endangerment after a woman called police because his car was parked in her front yard.

When officers arrived they say they found Sic-Tzunum passed out with the car running and the stereo blaring.

The six-year-old told officers she was trying to walk home after she got scared because she couldn't wake up her dad.

First responders had to shake the man awake.
