Jail for dad who overdosed at McDonald's play area (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Notice that this incident involved some sort of custody/visitation situation as the "girlfriend" who also overdosed is not the girl's mother. Whether Daddy Dopehead merely had visitation or full custody is not clarified.
Wonder what happened to this girl's mother, and whether she had objected to the girl being with this junkie--only to overruled by some judicial genius.
Dad is identified as ROBERT PALMER.

Emergency crews responded to a March 9 call about two unresponsive adults in the fast-food restaurant's indoor play area
CINCINNATI -- A man who overdosed on heroin with his girlfriend at a McDonald's play area near Cincinnati has been sentenced to six months in jail for child endangering.
Thirty-seven-year-old Robert Palmer was sentenced Monday by a Hamilton County municipal judge. He was convicted last month on two misdemeanor charges after a non-jury trial.
Emergency crews responded to a March 9 call about two unresponsive adults in the fast-food restaurant's indoor play area. They needed emergency treatment to recover from what police called "life-threatening overdoses."
Authorities said the couple from Dillsboro, Ind., acknowledged using heroin while with two children, a 5-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy. Palmer is the girl's father; the boy's relationship with the couple wasn't made clear.
Attorney Michael J. Trapp says Palmer is very sorry.
