Coroner Releases More Details In Death Of Lexington Baby

More details have been released in the death of a 29-day-old baby who was taken to the hospital after becoming unresponsive at home on Thanksgiving of last year.

The Fayette County Coroner said Monday the child died of blunt force injuries of the head, and the death is being investigated as a homicide.

Caz Hazuga, II, the baby's father, is accused of killing the infant. Hazuga claims he didn't kill his son. He said he woke up to feed little Caz Hazuga, Jr. at 6 a.m., and the baby choked on his formula and stopped breathing.

The autopsy was complete on Nov. 29, 2013. The information was not released to the media until Monday.
