Custodial dad, step arrested in starvation death of 11-year-old son (Horn Lake, Mississippi)
The custodial dad is finally identified as JACK RAINES. STILL no word of what happened to the mother of this boy--whether she is dead, "missing," or was cheated out of custody due to a corrupt family court. Notice we have mention of unidentified "family members" though.
Whenever a story appears like this, the question must be raised as to what happened to the mother. If the father was apparently capable of killing/torturing a child, then he was also capable of doing the same to the mother.

The father and stepmother of an 11-year-old boy, who weighed 56 pounds at the time of his death, are in custody.
Horn Lake Police and the DeSoto County District Attorney's Office say Jack Raines and Amanda Raines were arrested Wednesday in the death of Justin Tyler Raines. Each faces charges of capital murder, felony child abuse and neglect. Bond for each was set at $250,000.
Authorities say the boy was found dead last week in a bathroom at his father's house.
Assistant District Attorney Steven Jubera tells WMC-TV (http://bit.ly/1eR8jYH ) that he was horrified when he saw the boy's body. Rebecca Gaines says family members who saw the body at the funeral home described him as having two black eyes and what looked like cigarette burns on his face.
