Dad leaves 1-year-old daughter home alone while he burglarized neighboring houses (Brookhaven, Pennsylvania)

Sure sounds like this involves a custody/visitiation situation. Notice that the police had to call the mother to pick up the 1-year-old daughter. Which suggests that she didn't live there. Otherwise, she would have just come home. With Dad being so young, you can just about bet this was one of those cases where the couple was never married, and never had a committed relationship--but Daddy got his rights anyway.

BROOKHAVEN, Pa. – Police say a man left his 1-year-old daughter home alone while tried to break into neighbors' homes in a Philadelphia suburb.

Authorities say it happened Wednesday morning in Brookhaven. They say 20-year-old Arthur Langley was arrested after a resident called 911 to report a suspicious person.

The Delaware County Times reports (http://bit.ly/RQScg4 ) Langley allegedly told police he had been looking for places people sometimes leave keys, and then mentioned he'd left his daughter home alone. Police went to his house and found the girl in a child seat watching television.

Police called the girl's mother to come pick her up.

Langley is being held on $100,000 bail on charges including attempted burglary and endangering the welfare of a child. It wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
