Dad charged with beating 18-month-old daughter (Columbus, Ohio)
How many times do we have to go over this point? If you "spank" a child so severely she has to be hospitalized, then it's not a "spanking." A spanking is a swat on the behind. If a child needs medical attention after a "spanking" it's an assault. Broken bones are definitely a sign of assault. Comprende? Dad JON-MICHAEL MURRAY is the latest to assault a helpless toddler, and yet minimize his violence as a mere "spanking."
