Tuesday afternoon, a Marlboro County man who recently got arrested while on probation for the murder of his own son waived his bond hearing.

Because Richard McDowell had already served half of his 18 month sentence for killing his son, he was placed on probation.

A week ago, police say he violated his probation when he was arrested for DUI and driving under suspension in Darlington County.

Officials say he could be back in court Thursday for a hearing to determine if he should be sent to prison to serve the rest of his time for violating his probation.
