Dad EDWARD RILEY says he left the baby inside the car while doing a "quick visit" with relatives. That seems doubtful given that the baby was found by a tow truck driver who had hauled off the unregistered car. Dad faces child neglect charges.

TAMPA, Fla. -- A Tampa tow truck driver found a one-year-old baby inside of an unregistered car he towed from a parking lot. The toddler was found in the back seat when the towing company checked the vehicle at their lot.
Police say the baby's father, Edward Riley, told officers he left the baby inside the car because he went inside a relative's home for a quick visit.
It is unknown how long the baby was left alone. The father is in the Hillsborough County jail facing child neglect charges.
