Dad charged with axe attack on son (Wolcott, New York)

To dad PAUL M. SKILINS, SR.: Can't you find another way to bond with Junior besides drinking and smoking marijuana together, then striking sonny boy in the head with an axe? (Dude, I think that was some bad sh-t you were smokin'...).

WOLCOTT, NY - State Police are charging a Wollcott man for allegedly striking his son in the head with an axe.

Paul M. Skilins, Sr.,51, allegedly hit his son, Paul M. Skilins II, 28, in the head with an axe. Police the incident occurred while the two were drinking and smoking marijuana in a garage.

The handle portion struck the younger man in the head and he suffered a severe laceration. He was treated at Rochester General Hospital.

The elder Skilins is in Wayne County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
