Trumbull County Father Sentenced For Child Abuse
The father convicted of seriously injuring his 10-week-old baby will spend the next eight years behind bars.
Jeremy Hendrex was sentenced on child endangering and felonious assault after a jury found him guilty of causing tramatic brain injury to now two-year-old Alyssa Jarome.
Hendrex had nothing to say at his sentencing. But Jarome's mother did. She asked the judge for the maximum sentence.
After the hearing Hendrex's wife defended him. Hendrex will likely appeal the conviction.

Heres the whole story: Shari got pregnant with the baby and he was pissed off. He had a girlfriend in another town, and got married to her almost a month after the birth. He came back into town to the place he shared with the mother and while she was at work supporting his beatbeat butt, he tried to kill the baby. Two skull fractures, and shes blind. His wife seems to think he is innocent, shes a little off. His mother seems to think that intimidating this poor mothers family is okay. While poor baby was in the hospital the father did not go see her for the first two days. He also made the comment "if she dies, do I have to pay child support?" He was on bond for two years until they finally tried this case.
