A Hendersonville man, wanted for misdemeanor child abuse, turned himself in at the Henderson County Magistrate's Office Tuesday.

Anthony Cole Stepp, 21, of Shepherd Street, was charged with one count of misdemeanor child abuse after the Henderson County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Social Services investigated injuries to his 3-month-old child reported in December.

After turning himself in, Stepp was booked and released under a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 21.
