Dad with "unlimited visitation" poisons 2-year-old daughter in botched murder-suicide (Queens, New York)

Yup, the split with Mom was "acrimonious" (meaning UNNAMED DAD was consistently hostile, scary, and/or violent, but the courts insisted on tarring both parents with the same brush). So since Daddy is not held accountable for his previous behavior, he gets "unlimited visitation" with a vulnerable, helpless 2-year-old girl.

This is the problem. If you provide a suicidal-homicidal nutcase with free access to a toddler, you put that child in significant danger, as we can see here. If guys like UNNAMED DAD weren't provided with child access on demand, they wouldn't be able to use these kids as pawns in their Daddy Drama temper tantrums.

Police on Long Island say a man may have sickened himself and his toddler with chemicals in a botched murder-suicide that left them both hospitalized.

The 45-year-old Queens man and his 2-year-old daughter were found in "respiratory distress" Monday in a car parked in Lawrence.

Police say a chemical used in fire extinguishers was found in a bottle next to the baby. A chemical used in fertilizers also was in the vehicle.

The little girl's condition was upgraded to stable on Tuesday.

The unidentified father remained in critical condition. Police said criminal charges against him were likely.

A Nassau County police spokesman says the child lives with her mother in Brooklyn.

The parents were reportedly involved in an acrimonious split. Police said the father had unlimited visitation.
