Dad shoots teen daughter to death, crashes car in murder-suicide (Cincinnati, Ohio)

Police Identify Dad, Daughter in Murder-Suicide

Cincinnati Police have released the names of a teenage girl shot to death by her father in Reading on Thursday-and have also released the name of her father. Officers now say 18-year-old Daniesha Williams died at the scene and her father, 38 year old Ronald Williams died Thursday night, several hours after the murder-suicide.

Cincinnati Police believe Ronald shot and killed his daughter not long after pulling out of the family's driveway along Reading Road north of Galbraith around 2 p.m. Thursday. Witnesses say they saw Daniesha stumble out of the car. They heard another shot, and then the car lurched forward and traveled about half a block before smashing head-on into a retaining wall.

Detectives believe Ronald shot himself in the head before crashing. Ronald Williams was placed on life support and donated his organs before he died.

Police have not commented on a motive in the deaths.
