Dad sentenced to life for beating death of newborn daughter (Providence, Rhode Island)
Once again, notice how the media utterly caters to killer dad RACHIN MCCOY's enabling friends and relatives. We quote all the random cousins and aunts who just "can't believe it"--even though this piece of sh** has pleaded guilty. But not one word from the mother of this murdered baby, who has been effectively erased. Her grief, her anger, her frustration are totally omitted from the story. Why?

A Rhode Island father gets life in prison for brutally killing his newborn daughter, and his family still doesn't believe the 23 year old could've done it.
The verdict came down Wednesday. Rachin McCoy is sentenced to life for viciously beat his six week old daughter to death in 2009.
"My heart dropped for both because the baby is a part of him," said cousin Jose Medina, "The baby's always going to be a part of him."
Medina was in court as his little cousin learned his fate. A fate Medina says isn't fair. "I don't know what's going on with them, they're saying he did it," said Medina, "But he said to us he didn't do it."
Rachin McCoy plead guilty to killing his daughter in court though. The newborn had head injuries and broken ribs.
"As long as I've known him, from a little boy, he's always wanted a child of his own," said McCoy's aunt, "If it happened that she died from a head blow, I believe it had to be an accident."
His aunt said he's taking responsibility for the what she calls an accident. She said he'd never intentionally hurt the child he told her he wanted so badly.
"I remember the day she was born," she said, "He came to me and said I have a little girl, I'm excited. You gotta come and see my little girl."
Under Rhode Island law, McCoy isn't eligible for parole for at least 20 years and can't get any time off for good behavior.
