Dad leaves 5-month-old daughter alone in car to go on date--presumably during Dad's visitation (Sacramento, California)
If you read between the lines, it is quite obvious that dad CHRISTOPHER JOHNSON was exercising his custodial/visitation rights when he left his 5-month-old daughter in his car alone while he went on a date at McDonald's. (Hmm. So not only is he a crappy father, he's a cheap date. Figures.)
Another example of why giving these young, clueless males custodial rights over infants is a bad, bad idea.

SACRAMENTO, Calif -- Sacramento police say 18-year-old Christopher Johnson left his 5-month-old baby girl locked in a car for 30 minutes while he allegedly went on a date more than 400 feet away.
Officials say Johnson parked his car around 9:30 A.M. and walked across the street to a McDonald's.
It wasn't until a good Samaritan who sat next to the car for 15 minutes noticed the child was in the car, and called 9-1-1.
Police say from the parking lot to the McDonald's, you couldn't see Johnson's car. Police said they could not contact the baby's mother and have placed the child in protective custody.
Johnson was arrested on felony child endangerment charges.
