Drunk dad crashes car with teenage son inside; flees the scene of the accident (Vineland, New Jersey)
Dad KEVIN T. MOREY: What a role model. Crashes his car into another vehicle when he has a blood alcohol level of .13 percent. His teenage son is in the car. So Dad does the brave, manly thing. He flees the scene of the accident, and the son runs after him. They're later caught by the police.
Yup, this is what we want to teach our kids to do, right? Still think that every dad, no matter what, is special?

VINELAND -- A Mill- ville man whose car struck another vehicle was drunk when he and his teenage son fled the crash scene, police said.
Kevin T. Morey, 44, of the 300 block of East Main Street, was pulling out of McDonald's, near Sherman Avenue and Delsea Drive, when his car struck a vehicle shortly before 10:17 p.m. Friday, police said.
Morey pulled into a nearby driveway on Sherman Avenue, and then he and his 16-year-old son jumped out of the vehicle and ran, said Sgt. Vince Solazzo of the Traffic Safety Unit.
Police found the teen a short while later near Sherman Avenue and the Boulevard.
He told police he ran because he was scared and because he saw his father run, Solazzo said.
Morey was found hiding behind a bush at a Sherman Avenue home.
Police took Morey and his son to police headquarters.
Morey had a blood-alcohol content of .13 percent, above the legal limit of .08 percent, Solazzo said.
Police charged him with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and driving with a suspended license. He was processed and released to an acquaintance.
The teenager was not charged, Solazzo said.
No one was injured in the crash.
