Daughter testifies against dad in his murder trial (Mocksville, North Carolina)

I couldn't tell you for sure whether dad KIRK TURNER murdered his wife. But based on his daughter's testimony at trial, I get the distinct impression that he's a jackass of a father.

Mocksville, NC -- A dentist accused of murdering his wife watched his daughter take the stand with potentially damaging testimony.

Wendy Turner testified about the love of horses she shared with her mother.

Her father, Kirk Turner, choked back tears during her testimony.

She explained her relationship with her father was good until her parents divorced.

Wendy Turner: "She (Jennifer) told me that he (Kirk) said that there was more than one way to end a marriage when he said he wanted a separation." Asst. DA Rob Taylor: "And did she indicate what kind of fear that caused in her?" Wendy: "Terrible fear. She would, she would hunch over and hug her stomach and rub her arms and she would be really shaky and scared."

Wendy testified her father took the divorce out on her.

She told jurors he stopped paying her tuition and credit card bill after she bought flowers for her mom using the credit card.
