Dad accused of ramming son with truck, making death threats (Kennewick, Washington)

Dad CHARLES WAYNE LISENBEE shows that you're never too old to be an abuser. Dad not only made death threats against his son's family before ramming his son with his truck, he had outstanding felony warrants. It's nice of you all to take the old man in, but I suspect he's beyond help.

A 62-year-old man is accused of hitting his son with a truck after making threats to kill members of his son's family.

Charles Wayne Lisenbee of Kennewick pleaded innocent to second-degree assault with a domestic violence allegation. His trial is set for Sept. 28.

Lisenbee reportedly lives with his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, and on Aug. 2 the two adult men got into an argument. After Charles Lisenbee made the threats, Nathan Lisenbee grabbed his father's arm and escorted him out to his truck, court documents said.

Once behind the wheel, Charles Lisenbee "accelerated forward and hit his son, causing him to go through the windshield of the truck, caving it in," Deputy Prosecutor Anita Petra wrote in court documents.

Nathan Lisenbee was treated at Kennewick General Hospital for some glass injuries to his body, documents said.

Charles Lisenbee was tracked down and arrested by Benton County sheriff's deputies. He also had two felony warrants at the time, documents said.
